 | Tag der offenen Tür Armeemuseum Burgdorf (Stiftung HAM)Am Samstag 11. September 2010 fand im Armeemuseum Burgdorf das erste mal ein Tag der offenen Tür statt, wo man all die bisher teilweise nicht öffentlich zugängigen Raritäten bewundern konnte. An beiden Besuchstagen kamen total rund 3'000 Besucher. Seit rund 1,5 Jahren betreibt die Stiftung HAM das Armeemuseum in Burgdorf. Die Stiftung Historisches Armeematerial (Stiftung HAM) betreut im Auftrag des VBS die umfangreichste und einmalige Sammlung militärischer Oldtimer-Fahrzeuge der Schweizer Armee. Ziel ist, von jedem Fahrzeug mindestens 2 Stück für die Nachwelt zu erhalten. Zugänglich sind verschiedenste Pferdewagen/Fourgon, Panzer, Lkw, 4x4 Fahrzeuge sowie Prototypen. Eine kleine Auswahl: Ford Canada F60S, Magirus Deutz Uranus, Rotinoff Super Atlantic, viele GMC CCKW, Dodge 0.5t, Dodge 0.75t und Dodge 1.6, Saurer sowie Berna 4x4, Henschel, Centurion Panzer 55/57 und Entpannungspanzer 56, Panzer 68, Renault FT-17 von 1921, zwei US Half Tracks, Peter Schneeschleuder, Condor und Universal-Motorräder, Pinzgauer und Unimog S, Kranwagen wie Ward La France und Diamond T...

 | Inaugration of a new hall and the MOWAG exhibitionOn Saturday April 10th, 2010, the Military Museum in Full-Reuenthal held its only bigger event that year. The occasion was the inaugration of a new public hall with a lot of exhibits like tanks (like a very rare Zielpanzer 68 M+77876, only 10 made) and trucks as well as the new MOWAG exhibition. There was a live display with two moving Panzer 68, two M113 and some soldiers depicting a battle attack.

 | 15th Military Vehicle Gathering in Schwarzhäusern, Switzerland Albin Gerber has been organising these vehicle meetings at his place since the first one. Over the weekend of September 12, 2009, over 100 military vehicles, trucks, motorcycles and an AMX13 (Leichtpanzer 51) as well as a Panzer 68 met in Schwarzhäusern. More uncommon vehicles were a Studebaker Weasel M29, Saurer Prototype, a SPA from Luxembourg, an uncommon Jeep Station Wagon 4x4-73 as a Swiss Military Police Version, a very rare GMC CCKW 353 Bolster Truck with Trailer.

Fliegerschiessen Axalp October 6th, 2009, Switzerland
On a cloudy Tuesday morning, we hiked up to the high mountains shooting range of the Swiss Air Force. The SAF trained with their FA-18s and F5 Tigers the shooting with real amunition. Nowhere in the world can you be so close to the action. One day later, nearly 9'000 spectators were there to see the Swiss Air Force fighters in close combat.
