Goodbye Artillery in Frauenfeld CH, 2007
On September 22nd, 2007, the Artillery Camp said Goodbye to its army camp in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. After 144 years education in Frauenfeld, the army concentrates its artillery education in Bière. To honour those years spent in Frauenfeld, a public day was organised. The Army showed their latest equipment and some live demonstrations with the SPG M109. Highlight was the life shooting in the afternoon. You could stand close as ca 100m. Have a look at my videos on youtube.

Fliegerschiessen Axalp October 11th, 2007, Switzerland
After visiting the air-to-ground shooting in 2006 I went back on a sunny Thursday to see the spectacle again. Unfortunately, the show was stopped the day before after around 1 h because of heavy fog.

Visitors came from all over Europe: Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands. According to a local newspaper, around 7'000 per day visited this shooting with F-5 Tigers and F/A-18 Hornets. The Cougar helicopter opend as usual the show with around 200 flares.
