Nalé, Waffenplatz Bure, Switzerland

On the weekend of June 4 - 5, 2005, was the first Military Vehicle Meeting held in Nalé. This little village belongs to the French speaking part of Switzerland. Nalé is an imaginary village where the Swiss Army train the fighting in built-up areas (FIBUA). Around 50 - 60 vehicles were attending, mostly of WW2 origine. On Saturday evening was a small parade through the towns around. Vehicle highlights were a GMC DUKW (first one I've ever seen in Switzerland), a beautifully restored White Half Track and two VW-82 Kübelwagen.

Flight with a Junkers Ju-52 in the Swiss Alps

On April 2, 2005, I flew my first time with an original Ju-52! Fantastic weather, great sound of the engines and a shaking! Wow, just enjoy the snow in the Mountains.
You can book your flight with www.ju-air.ch. They operate four Ju-52 in flying conditions, and the Ju's are believed to be the only ones with the original BMW-engines, built in 1939.
